Maya Irving is a visual artist currently based on Dhudhuroa country (Beechworth.) Maya works with colour and texture to convey her experience of both her inner and outer landscapes.

Her work is intuitive and responsive, seeking to inspire curiosity, playfulness and self reflection.

She hopes that through her paintings she can provide space for contemplations surrounding social and climate justice, self-identity and sensuality.

Maya has featured in a number of group exhibitions and fundraisers and held her first solo show in 2018 titled 'ExhiBushion' which was a nostalgic exploration of her time spent in desert Australia.
