Prior to commencing painting the Artist writes a stream of consciousness to guide the initial mark making process, as written below.

'And in your determination to be tough you forget to ask for help

until the lint of your tears dissolve into charcoal commotion

Sometimes I wonder if my brain is losing authentic thought so I try to think up a new word

But I feel I feel I feel

If I open myself up will I keep unravelling until there is nothing left but a blanket of skin and a bleeding notion?

I avoid the reality of this world and paint and paint and hope someone will understand.'
